Bad Serial Given During Setup - Arma 2 OA

Hey how's it going? Im having the problem where I try to start my arma game to play DayZ and it gives me the error "Bad Serial Given During Setup".

I've tried to get help from steam and they have directed me towards you guys. The list will let you know everything i've already tried. ( Ive been playing for like 3 months, it randomly started to do this. )

1. I've ran Steam in Administrator.

2. I've ran them in the order that they are supposed to be ran in order to play Dayz.

3. I've tried to update the game.

4. I've tried to verify the cache of the game, it tells me there are 1 or more files not there.

5. The registry is bugged to the point that it always tells me there is an error and I can not edit them.

6. The key is also not in the registry for arma OA.

That one has working solutions. It's not necessary that everyone with that problem has his own thread. :)
