BossOfGames 1 Posted July 25, 2012 Hey, I have been having issues with 2 computers with the same os (Win7 x64) and Arma 2: CO version 1.60. I have been having problems with the 2 computers connecting to each other. Computer 1 can connect to computer 2 when hosting, but computer 2 cannot connect to computer 1 when hosting. Is there any fix I can try?
Clowns2 10 Posted July 25, 2012 Double check your port and firewall.
W0lle 1048 Posted July 25, 2012 Yep, same problem I just had 2 days ago where firewall was blocking ArmA2 on the other PC.
BossOfGames 1 Posted July 31, 2012 Sorry for the late reply guys. I posted it while on vacation. I will try to check all the settings. I bought the 2 copies at the same time on amazon. Could there be a possibility of mixing up the product keys?
dale 11 Posted July 31, 2012 generally product keys have no bearing on LAN connections(thats why people use them to bypass buying the game), I also had this issue a while back, turns out I had Hamachi on the other computer turned on, so naturally it can still connect but its base IP4 is different. I would suggest also checking what connection you are using, if you are connecting through a router are they hard wired or wireless, also are you connecting them directly via ethernet?
