erickbb 1 Posted July 5, 2012 Hi, i am new to Arma 2 and stuff, and i am trying to make my own levels, but i am also trying to download the editor update/upgrade so i can place buildings. I already know there is a way to place them with scripts, but I want to use this method. But the problem is I don't know how to plaace them, should they add a button to the editor GUI, or do i have to press something to make it pop up. please help me. what i basically want is how to use the upgrade things. Gunter Severloh 4071 Posted July 5, 2012 If you are trying to place markers, then go to the markers and they will be in the list. as tom said above place a unit, and then under empty under faction will be the new stuff, there will not be new buttons and stuff as the editor update download page would say that the editor UI (user interface would change). Usually an editor update is the addition of objects and things like buildings, and signs as well as markers and such.
