KyleTonner 1 Posted July 1, 2012 (edited) Hi there, I've reinstalled Arma 2 from steam, got this issue, so then I uninstalled and reinstalled the free version and the same issue appeared. The graphics are way out of whack and I don't know how to solve it, I've tried a few ways but nothing's worked. http://imgur.com/RUoJe It had worked fine before and even with mods, but this issue came up. Specs: Computer: Inspiron 570, Windows 7 Home Premium, 64 bit. Processor: AMD Sempron 140 Processor, 2.7 GHz RAM: 2gb (1.75 usable) Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 4200 with updated drivers Motherboard: Dell Inc. 04GJJT (CPU 1) Free version is patched to 1.11 I'm not sure if I should downgrade my drivers (I updated recently and that may have been the issue, however Arma 2 was uninstalled at the time) or install something or what. Any help? **EDIT** Graphics card was fried Edited July 1, 2012 by KyleTonner Solved

DannyyB 1 Posted July 14, 2012 I have the exact same problem which has occured from the offset. The frame rate is fine but the graphics glitch makes the game unplayable. I have played with the video settings without success. My system spec is: Toshiba Satelite L650 Intel Core i3 M350 @ 2.27 GHz 4 GB RAM, 3.8 GB usable Windows 7 64 bit Steam version of ARMA 2 I understand my spec is poor but games with similar demand levels play well with settings down low. Any assistance is appreciated.
Placebo 29 Posted July 14, 2012 You fail to mention the graphics card, isn't it an "ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5145 GPU"? http://reviews.cnet.co.uk/laptops/toshiba-satellite-l650-review-49306030/ The ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5145 isn't cut out for playing high-end 3D games, but it'll let you run pretty much anything else as long as you're willing to scale back the resolution slightly and reduce the detail settings. Pretty sure the graphics card is below the minimum requirement hence it not running well.
DannyyB 1 Posted July 14, 2012 Hi there, The graphics card installed is the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator HD with 1696 MB of graphics memory. Sorry, I am not computer literate and unsure if this is sufficient to run ARMA, even with smallest resolution and lowest settings.
