Ricola 10 Posted June 22, 2012 I've a big problem: Since the newest NVIDIA Driver, ArmA 2 has some little Graphic bugs... Nothing very strange, but still annoying. Sometimes i see shadows from grass, and sometimes not... It's like the shadows blink. But 1 picture show's more than 1000 words so: http://www.imagebanana.com/view/fpbzmihg/Unbenannt.png And this 2 pictures flip about every second, so it's just a blinky screen :/ My system Specs: AMD Phenom II 3.6ghz GTX560ti Windows 7 64 bit Thanks in advantage. W0lle 1052 Posted June 22, 2012 §22) Use descriptive thread titles If you start a new thread, please make sure your thread title explains what you want without forcing people to read through your post first. Thread titles such as "How in the world do I...", "Need help!" or "Will we ever see..." are anything but descriptive. We do not allow these kind of titles and threads with such titles are subject to be closed. Your thread title is anything but descriptive because it's forcing everyone to open it and check what driver version is meant!
metalcraze 290 Posted June 23, 2012 Since the newest NVIDIA Driver, ArmA 2 has some little Graphic bugs... Are you sure you are posting this on the right forum? BIS doesn't make NVIDIA drivers. Also make sure Ambient Occlusion is turned off in the driver
metalcraze 290 Posted June 24, 2012 Right click on the desktop -> Nvidia control panel Find ArmA2OA.exe (ArmA2 Operation Arrowhead) in the list of 3D settings. Ambient Occlusion is the first option. It should be Off. By default ArmA2 has no such effect for grass. It looks exactly like NVidia driver AO and yeah it flickers.
CameronMcDonald 146 Posted June 25, 2012 Yep, that's forced AO causing you trouble there.
