D-onhow hard is it to make an add-on

I got a good few iddeas for a couple new vehicles but dont know where the hell to start.

I`ve read a few of the bits over at the ofp editing place but rather than sifting through all of it could anyone get me straight what i need to know also how much trouble is it before u have a working addd-on and is what are the limitations too it ??

hey man, ill help ya out since no one around here seems to want to help the little guys anymore (BAD ON THEM).

#1) get gmax(a 3d modeling tool) from discreet.com heres the direct address, http://www.discreet.com/products/gmax/gmax_index.html

#2) make sure you download the tutorials and start from the beginning. well thats where i am at the moment, oh and dont think your gonna just jump in and start makin a crapload of models right away cause it aint gonna happen, i been learning for the past two weeks and im far from bein good at it, i also have two jobs and dont get too much time to mess around with it.

Well id really like to help u out but im not a modeler. Only thing I can offer is too read, read, and i stress again read tutorialls. That or take some class in your spare time..If they have something like that, which im sure they do...

Can anyone tell me what file formats Oxygen can convert into the game.

I have G-Max but I also have Truespace which I find easier to use and on which I have a few models completed such as the one below and would be willing to share them with people with Oxygen.

I already have G-max and a few oter modelling programs but how exactly are u meant to get them working In ofp also how do u get models out of gmax as doesnt it save in its own special format so u couldnt export ur models unless u have a gamepack confused.gif

renegade also look over at the ofpec site: http://www.ofpeditingcenter.com/

they have a good pile of tutorials to get you started in the addon department. just start messin with the programs and following the tutorials. unless you got the money for one'o'them classes.
