konyo 14 Posted June 15, 2012 If i was editing something in the first 0.00 LOD. Can i make it to select all LODS? For example im moving part of my model around can i press something that makes the Geo LOD, and memory LODs so they all move with it? I have some lights on my vehicle and im always moving the 0.00 LOD around and have to replace everything in the memory LOD? Thanks in advance :D
max power 21 Posted June 15, 2012 AFAIK, apply to all LODs works only for global changes to the whole model.. for instance, rescaling the whole thing. To apply the same transformation to a part of the model on all LODs, you will have to do it manually AFAIK. But remember, the transformation (translate, rotate, scale) dialogue boxes remember your last input, so the only thing to do is make sure that these translations are working off of the same point of reference. Luckily, for that, we have the pin. Place the pin where you want it (you can centre it to your current selection by pressing c), and check 'relative to pin' for each transformation you perform. Also, you can record and play back a macro for repetitive tasks.
