RadicalAtHeart 11 Posted June 5, 2012 These benchmarks are based on latest official ArmA 2 Combined Ops - Benchmark 02 from A2 Corsair XMS3 1333MHz 2x4GB was used for the benchmarks i5-2500k @4.5GHz Benchmark 02 Run 1 @ 1333MHz 9-9-9-24 21FPS Benchmark 02 Run 2 @ 1333MHz 9-9-9-24 21FPS Benchmark 02 Run 1 @ 1066MHz 9-9-9-24 19FPS Benchmark 02 Run 1 @ 1066MHz 9-9-9-24 20FPS My RAM has a 54ns latency in total with Aida64 for my 1333MHz settings Every time the game was restarted and made sure everything was loaded. It shows the game is RAM bandwidth or latency dependant. I am however not able to test higher frequencies. But I thought these results were enough anyway. Probably Ivy Bridge @ 4.6ghz and 2800mhz will run this game the best with a few SSDs
Flat4ej20 10 Posted June 6, 2012 Welcome 2 Arma, this is not a linear game. Please run benchmark 63 times and report findings.
RadicalAtHeart 11 Posted June 6, 2012 Welcome 2 Arma, this is not a linear game. Please run benchmark 63 times and report findings. I will. I am trying to find my lowest stable timings for 1333mhz and I will report back I will analyze latency vs bandwidth. I use Thaiphoon Burner to find equal settings. MavericK96 0 Posted June 6, 2012 I don't think a difference of 1 FPS shows any sort of dependence. That's well within the margin of error for those benchmarks (keep in mind Benchmark 2 doesn't always play out the exact same way).
