ARMA 2 : Problem Starting the Game in Steam!

I recently downloaded ARMA II: Combined Operations from Steam, but I can´t start the games in Steam... I need to go to:

(C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2) or (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead) to start the games.

Now i can´t play any mods or play with my friends...

Pls help!

And why you don't ask in the Steam support forums? After all they provided the platform which doesn't work.

Or simply create desktop shortcuts for the game executable and run it from there.

trying to seriously help you by saying..never use steam

buy the pc disk or direct to drive. it will save you all kinds of hassles & privacy issues.

I have already asked in Steam support forums, they sent me here cuz they couldn´t help me, and adding icons wont help me in this case

I can launch ArmA in Steam just fine, I've never had a single problem with Steam. Try restarting Steam, restarting your PC, or running Steam with Administrator privileges.

I´ve already tried that, didn´t help. I have tried the most, removing it and installing it again, I did the "Veriefy Integriti of game Cache"... nothing has helped so far...
