I think Windows 98's Paint has a JPEG capability. Just go to Start>Accessories>Paint. Once there just go to copy>paste. It may ask you if you wish to resize the canvas or something like that so just say yes. Then just save the picture in JPEG format. Hopefully it will be under 100kb. Upload it to a web server and post the picture here directly (if it's under 100kb) and if it's over, then post the hyperlink to it. You can determine its file size by right-clicking on the image and selecting Properties.
ralphwiggum 6 Posted June 17, 2002 nope.Win98 Paint only works for Bitmaps. Win ME/2K's paint has Gif type avaiable, but not JPEG. and what advocate and I are saying is programs like Adobe Photoshop and so on. I don't have them cuz they are expensive. dayglow 2 Posted June 17, 2002 I took the dive and got the whole object desktop stuff so I run windowblinds and such. I really adds to the desktop and I think it's money well spent. Just means not buying a crappy game really I tried litestep, but I could never get it to run stable for me and it's not the easiest to setup so windowblinds it is. Nice thing is is that end-it-all shuts it all down so I can run games with the most resources possible. COLINMAN
