I only hate blocksuckers and other parasites, like these:

Tick

Ixodes ricinus

Everytime after being out in the green or field we searched under the shower on each others body for these critters. Not uncommon you have several of them, worst place i had some was on my testicles and armpits. wow.gif

They can be several days on your body sucking blood or crawling around, because you will hardly notice, they´ll only grow thick if they are filled with blood, that expands them to a multitude of their normal size. Disgusting critters.

Gnats

muecke.jpg

Pesky bastards, especially when you´ll try to sleep and it´s quiet around you then suddenly the initial attack occurs sssszzszszszs....szszszszszs...sszszszs. In some countries they are also carrying deadly bacteria, like the mosquito.

A spider will make a bloody mess out of these suckers, and they don´t deserve better.

The insects that scare the shit out of me the most are wasps, bees, and hornets...etc. They tell you that you won't get stung if you stay still, but thats a pile of shit. As for spiders, I crush nearly every one I come across, especially in my own home. I know spiders are usful but i couldn't possibly kill enough to make a difference, so I'll just keep on squishin'

Once when I was younger, I felt something in my swimtrunks, and was horrified to find a LIVING LOCUST IN THEM! MADNESS! wow.gif

I had just put them on, BTW, and I was feeling unusually itcy, so investigated... and I never wore any pants or shorts again.

yes although the spider escaped i had it long enough before to shed its skin which left me with an skin exact copy of the spider including hairs all perfect form apart from a little part on its back that was almost hinged where it pulled itself out the skin. Most awsome thing ive ever seen, and yeah although i wont keep one now lol i think there the most fantastic creatures about, and even now if i see a small one scuttle across teh floor i just leave it id rather them than flies that have been eating on dogshite biggrin.gif

Well, an article in one of the newspapers said that very poisenous (how the *beeeeep* do you write this *bleep*ing word?) spiders are in Belgium right now and their chance of survival is very big. Believe it or not, those spideys can live here pretty well. A while ago some black widows escaped from somewhere and the chance that they're still around is huge.

Oh well, i'm not afraid of spiders, nothing bad about them.

Hmmm, same thing happens here, everybody freaks out when there's a bee or something else like that near them. Well actually, what you said is treu, they won't attack unless you attack their homes or attack them. Most times that you get stung it's because the animal had no choice (f.e. got crushed).

A wasp or a bee will NEVER sting you if he/she doesn't have to, why not? Well, if they sting you, they'll die too. It's their last defense, so they won't do it just to hurt you or anything like that. I'm not afraid of bees and wasps, when they come near me i just wave my hand towards it (carefully not to crush it) and then they go away, they'll sting when you freak out and sqeeze them to death bya accident.

I really can't understand why you should kill spiders, i understand that you are afraid of animals like bees who can sting you when they are in danger. But a spider? They can't even possibly bite you (their jaws are too small to bite in human flesh), oh and if you encounter a tarantula and don't feel very comfortable and you really want to kill it. Just push it with a stick, when a spider like that falls from a rather high distance (about 1 m) they'll be dead. Their body has some kinda scale or something, so when they drop, it breaks and they're dead.

we have lots of bees and wasps where i live, and spiders too. Ive seen countless black widows, around my house, they werent in my house, but i found one in the hood of an old car, and another inside a shed. We also have a few scorpions, theyre pretty small, but they look scary. But the most anoying thing is probably the fire ants. once i was mowing my yard and i stoped to empty the bag, seconds later i realized i was standing in a fire ant hill. In an instant my leg litterally felt like it was on fire. I started to run, and after a few feet i fell down and ripped off my shoe as fast as i could. I ended up getting bites on my hands too, from trying to wipe all the ants off my foot. It wasnt a good experience. Now, whenever i see and ant bed, i pour gasoline on it and lite the bitch up. tounge.gif

It is too laugh!

Spiders CAN bite you, no matter how small they are.

The Brown Recluse spider lives in amny parts of North America, and it's bite can be really damn nasty.

The Black Widow can also cause problems. Rarely death though.

And these spiders can both be found (I killed a black widow last night) where I live.

oh, and once when i was about 7, a hornet(which can sting multiple times) got in my bed, and when i went to sleep, it stung me 3 times in my leg. after that, till about age 10, i always thoroughly checked under my covers before i got in.

And im surprised no ones mentioned roaches, me have some mighty damn big ass cock roaches where i live. we have two different types, i dont know there scientific names, but here they are.

roaches.jpg

and these, which are more common

roaches.jpg

the average size of one is about 1 1/2 inches, but i sware seen a few that are about 3 inches.

and before we got a new pest control man, you could go out on my back patio at night and see 30 maybe 40 roaches crawling around. It wasnt a good idea to go out without shoes. O yea, and sometimes these little bastards will fly.

and to darklight. I dont know what you mean spiders cant bite, they sure as hell can too bite. There is one spider that cant bite that i know of. I think theyre called granddaddy long legs.

ive heard of a spider that lives in australia, not sure of its name. But when it bites you, the spot where you are bitten, if not treated immediately will rot, and depending on where it is might have to be amputated. I saw a picture of a guy who had been bitten in the forearm, and little greenish holes where the spider had bitten him where spreading, and it littlerally looked like a piece of rotting food.

I hate gnats the most though. They only come out during the summer, and are by far my least favorite part of the season mad.gif

I'm making a petition to ban gnats from the country! If they disagree, I'll see to it that they are all arrested AND exiled to Siberia.
