domokun 515 Posted March 19, 2012 I thought this experience with fellow Radeon 4890 owners: I've been running a Radeon 4890 with the 10.9 Catalyst drivers for the past 2 years without any serious issues. However this weekend, I had the bright idea to update my video drivers to the latest, 12.2 Catalyst. I rebooted and then ran OA to discover a nightmare of missing textures, white textures and/or flashing textures. So I conclude that if you're running Win7-64 and a Radeon 4890, stick with the 10.9 Catalyst drivers!
Harzach 2517 Posted March 19, 2012 Did you uninstall 10.9 then do a clean install of 12.2, or did you just use the Catalyst updater? Particularly with a big jump forward like that, a clean install is best.
