thewood 10 Posted March 10, 2012 I am running Arma2CO on a work laptop in Win7. There is no My Documents folder for my user name. It looks like Arma created a document folder in the default Document Library. But it seems like Arma doe not like writing to that Library. I have found no way to get a real My Document folder. Therefore, I can't get any addons to run or make any changes to settings Any suggestions? btw, I have done a global search for the arma2oa.cfg and it does not exist on my laptop. no use for a name 0 Posted March 11, 2012 My guess is the game doesn't have admin privileges, and therefore can't write the required files. Make sure you have admin access to your My Documents folder, as that's where Arma creates the .cfg files. Also try running Arma as admin, and change your UAC settings so that you have full access. mr burns 132 Posted March 11, 2012 You can try adding a -profiles parameter to your startup line, so that it points somewhere your user account has write privileges. Be aware though that under win7 BI still hasn´t fixed an error that doesn´t let you use custom sounds, custom face or squad.xml with this method *angryface*
