jeza 5418 Posted January 29, 2012 (edited) Introduction to 'Renegades' Renegades is an arma focused gaming clan established in 2004 with 22 SAS' throughout the years we have come to form a close relationship with all our members, contributing in many enjoyable experiences, we have formally been known as the 19th light division in arma 1, however through the times we have reverted back to Renegades which was our previous name. Pretty much all of our members have known each other for over 6 years now and have formed a close comradeship on the battlefield. Our ages range between late teens to mid fifty's so we have a decent stretched demographic. Renegades & ArmA 2 The vast majority of our members have been playing BIS games namely ofp1 from 2001 up unto the current days of arma 2 and onwards looking towards arma 3. What this can offer someone coming in is a decent knowledge base of the game itself the editor and addon creation. This can also offer seasoned players the chance to play with a group of people who know what their doing. This experience also has given us time to know what we like and how we play; we play in a realistic fashion as much as is enjoyable to all our members, we don't go over the top in-game, no one is called sir etc but we still have a in-game chain of command that players are expected to respect. Every day aside from our serious coop night is spent on our arma 2 server playing game modes such as warfare, domination, insurgency and mso etc, during these games we all have a great amount of fun and banter so if your considering joining remember, have a sense of humour, because we do! We play our serious coop game on Sunday evenings GMT evenings and we currently are using British based units and some other finely made community addons, which we have made into a renegades pack which all members are required to download to play on these nights. What you can get from joining Renegades If you do decide to joining renegades you can expect to have a great time with many laughs and banter from seasoned and knowledgeable arma veterans. On coop nights you'll get the chance to play in a well structured semi-serious manner. We play custom made missions on coop nights that are made by our members, all members can make missions for the group to play. Exclusivities to Renegades - The chance to help with in house map testing in the future & the opportunity to learn from others - User created missions from skilled members with positive public releases - The opportunity to play with veteran players of bis game Requirements - Mic & TS3 - Up to date version of ArmA2 (OA version is optional due to the 'lite' version available for people who do not own the full product) - ability to follow orders on our unit coop night - Sense of humour! Arma2 servers setup at the moment are: RCB Public RCB Private RCB Co-op RCB CWR2 (over 50 missions upped) Feel free to join, and come say hello.
