magnus28 1 Posted January 1, 2012 hello all, i've played I44 mod, and am in love with the fantastic job these guys did with the mod. There is only one problem, no Ju-87G Variant! That is the infamous Stuka that the designed for Rudel to bust more Russian Tanks, and in Operation " Citadel " Rudel knocked out 12 T-34's in one day with this "Kanonenvogel" What I am attempting to do (after getting the authors permission of course) Is model 2 flak 18 37mm cannons + canopy under the wings of the included .p3d model in the file. I have run into a few problems though. When I tried to open the .p3d file in Oxygen 2, it said it could not open binarized version of file. So I can't even bring up the 3d model. Also, is there a way to just attach 2 Flak 18's to the wings??? Thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
max power 21 Posted January 1, 2012 You must get the author's permission, and he must share his unbinarized source files with you, otherwise you have to make it from the ground up on your own. attaching new cannons to the wings of the aircraft will not be a problem, but will require several models of the cannons (for each lod), memory points for the muzzles, a script to get the cannons to fire from both wings instead of one wing, and new configs for the ammo, magazine, weapon, and aircraft.
