Depmod 0 Posted June 8, 2002 I know this must be a very stupid noob question,,,,but the manual doesnt help me much. Here is what am trying to do: First choper goes to waypoint and THEN AND ONLY THEN, the second choper moves to its own waypoint. I tried many things but i cant make it to work. Do i need a script? RED 0 Posted June 8, 2002 If you mean you want chopper1 to move to its waypoint and when it reaches it, chopper2 moves off? 1. Then give chopper1 its waypoint, 2. Then make a waypoint for chopper2 right ontop of its slef 3. Then give another waypoint for chopper2 where you want it to move to after chopper1 has moved off. 4. Hold down F5 and drag from the first waypoint of chopper2 to the waypoint of chopper1. That should do it. RED
Depmod 0 Posted June 8, 2002 ah well kinda,,,but what you gave me was helpfull too.,....but here let me be more clear. For example: I want a unit to be activated and move,,,only when another unit enters an area. Well am guessing what you said was the answer but i was wondering if i can do that with trigers. Chris Death 0 Posted June 8, 2002 Well, then create a trigger with the range, you want to have the area to be covered. Now create a unit1 - this is the unit, which should enter the trigger area. Now create a unit2 - this is the unit, which should wait until unit1 enters the trigger area. Now press F2 and drag a line from unit1 to the trigger - this causes, that the trigger can only be activated by unit1. Now create a waypoint (like RED suggested) ontop of unit2, press F5 and drag a line from the trigger to this waypoint - unit2 will wait at this waypoint, until unit1 has entered the area. Now you can go on with waypoints for unit2 how ya like. Off course, if unit1 is an AI unit, you need to setup waypoints for this unit aswell, to lead him into the trigger  Edit: ah yeah, btw - you will find info about how to do that right on your OFP CD in the readme: editing And at http://www.ofpec.com you'll find much more about editing. ~S~ CD
