Kermit

Operation flashpoint multiplayer community

Recommended Posts

Although waiting in the lobby is of course a pain, you cannot beat the friendliness of the people in general. I have never seen a first person shooter with friendlier players. The only game I've seen with a perfect community is Red Baron 3D, which is outdated. So three cheers to Operation Flashpoint and all of us players!

Incidentally, my online name is Little Blue Assassin, in case you ever meet me online.

welcome to OFP community.

most of us here on the forum have better social skills than rest of the FPS community in my opinion.

There are more mature ppl. many ppl who ACTAULLY SERVED in military, all around the globe(ok..usually US and EU).

ofcourse there are some assholes around, but most of the ppl here are great guys with great expertise in diverse fields.

i haven't played online for awhile, but i don't worry about getting some kid or military wannabes swearing at me. (of course there are some assholes again, but minor)

Because I don't have a Kermit the Frog skin! Let me tell you, my friend, it's not easy being green.

If you've played me online, you'll know I have an easily identifiable bright blue face. It gets me spotted a lot, but I like it, even though I can't draw.

yeah i've noticed how friendly everyone is also. Going back to counterstrike every once in a while is like WHOA! (seriously.. whoa). About 98% of the people that play there are assholes. They swear, flame, and all that crap. n00bs get scared to death.

I've noticed on the OFP forums is people asking.. how to say... very dumb and obvious questions. No one flames them at all! Thats very suprising. They still answer the question, but then leave a message afterwards that there was already a topic similar to it.
