droogs 1 Posted December 12, 2011 Hi guys Just installed 3ds max 2012 and seem to have made a boo boo somewhere. When I try to create anything, a box say, all I get where the box should be are 3 lines at each corner but nothing else. Have I pressed something and not realized. any ideas how to get my box back. Been at this for 2 hours now and starting to feel like a right mong
soul_assassin 1750 Posted December 12, 2011 3 lines at each corner? do you mean you see the wireframe? Press F3.
max power 21 Posted December 12, 2011 It sounds like maybe he's talking about the bounding box brackets. Maybe he has active degradation on full.

max power 21 Posted December 12, 2011 Try disabling adaptive degradation. http://animation.about.com/od/3danimationtutorials/ss/3dsmax_less1p4_3.htm
PuFu 4600 Posted December 12, 2011 wouldn't it be easier to post a screen showing what your issue is? might also be an issue with nitrous and your gfx card/driver, but since the information provided is very superficial, doubt you'll get the help you need
