EtErNaL 0 Posted June 7, 2002 Yes...just as I said..When I want to start OFP and click on the icon the Operation FLAshpoint logo appears as usual but then when the game should have start nothing happens. ?! The screen should go black and the Bohemia logo should appear and so on... but nothing happens, and when I press ctl+alt+delete I can see there OperationFlashpoint but It says not responding... Well this just happened... 1 week ago I was able to play ofp normal and so I was able to play ofp 6 months ago!!!! Whats the problem?? Are this problems connected wit ofp or my computer or virus??? ??HELP Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
theavonlady 2 Posted June 7, 2002 Viruses can do strange things indeed. However, let's clarify a few things. You say you played normally a week ago? Since then have you updated Windows, any drivers, DirectX or installed or removed any hardware? When you start OFP now, do you get stuck on the startup banner or not even that? EtErNaL 0 Posted June 7, 2002 I start ofp an d then that sign orangeblack coloured appears ...u know what...well trhats normal..but then when it dissapears and when the game should start it simply doesnts. I mean nothing happens...I stay on the desktop,, shit my english sucks ... Now you're talking about the game freezing. Before you said you were crashing to desktop. Those are two different things. What version of OFP is this? Where are you clicking "Close the program"? What activity does your hard disk and CD drive light show when OFP gets stuck? If the initial (orange) OFP banner shows and that's where you're stuck, search The FAQ for "logo display" and refer to the first two matching FAQ items. EtErNaL 0 Posted June 7, 2002 Sorry Im going to try to to tell u how does it look like When I start the ofp(click the icon) the normal orange thing-logo (banner as u said) appears then after 5-15 seconds it dissapears and at that point the game should start... BUT NOTHING HAPPENS, NO ERROR MSG, NOTHING...and when I click ctrl+alt+del I can see in the window OperationFlashpoint that is running...understand?? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

theavonlady 2 Posted June 7, 2002 I find it hard to understand that a week ago, it worked, now it doesn't and in between you made absolutely no hardware or software changes on the machine.
