Titanium's consolidated mapping questions.

Instead of asking a million questions in a million posts, I'll ask everything i need to in this thread.  First is an opinion:

I've recently been trying to make some small bunkers for my map.  For hiding, healing, rearming, planning, etc. purposes.  Well, heres 3 screenies of what I have so far.  Please tell me what you think of it and how I can improve on it.

 

First pic is on the inside of the bunker.  Now, it may seem small, but can comfortable fit 2-3 people.  If needed 4-5 can fit in there, as long as they are somewhat still.  The ammo crates are filled with an array of things. And the UAZG is locked and can only be used to heal.

The next pic is of the outside of it.  Its compact, and has an M2 Machine Gun for gaurding.  As well as a curved entrance to make it harder for an enemy to shoot in.

This last pic is of the actual entrance way into the bunker.  It has curved sandasgs surrounding it.  A small doorway to get into that curve.  And a small "eskimo" style openeing into it.  (smal and have to crawl to get in) Allowing for more protection and easier defending.

Wow, a compliment from Karrillion. I can die happy now lol. Anyway, alightment was a little tough for some parts. Anyone else care to comment?

Heres a side question. How can I create flares? I want to make my map a little darker but i want some falling flares to lite it up. I just want to see how this would look. Well, anyone know how?

this in the init line:

this setPos [getPos this select 0, getPos this select 1, (getPos this select 2) + 0]

That last 0 is how you raise it. You can put whatever you numbers want into there. Im particularly I set stacked them in incriments of .9. That way there were no gabs between them.

In the onactivation field of a trigger put:

_thisflare = "flare" camCreate [getpos flarestarter select 0,getpos flarestarter select 1,100]

Make a invisible heli pad called flarestarter and place it where you want the flares to fall.
