ARMA 2 versions.

Hello,

I want to play newest Arma 2: OA over Internet, mostly warfare. There is lots of versions arma in shops. ARMA 2, ARMA 2 OA, ARMA Reinforcements, ArmA X Anniversary Edition. I alredy have Arma Queen’s Gambit and Arma 2. Now i need to know if I should buy ARMA Reinforcements or ARMA x. ARMA Reinforcements contain ARMA 2 OA lite and i coudn't find what does "lite" mean. ARMA Reinforcements is half a price of the ARMA x, but ARMA OA + ARMA re. =~ ARMA x. So as primary online gamer should I buy ARMA Reinforcements or ARMA X?

Hi.

I would suggest get OA and install into Arma2 which would give you Arma2CO (combined Ops)

this would also give you the lite versions of BAF - (british Armed Forces) and PMC.

And the majority of servers run Combined Ops.

Although with ArmaX you would have everything, but its really up to you, but you cant go wrong with Arma2CO.

Buy arma 2 CO or(arma 2 and and Op.Arrowhead and install in the same folder you will have CO to, then patch to v1.59) and you can play in mp with all ( sometimes you will have to download few mods if needed). Lite version means that you have units and vehicles in low textures and dont have missions/campaigns like in full version.
