Zedrein 10 Posted October 13, 2011 Hello, i bought ARMAII & OA last fall and have had them off my HD all year i decided to get them back but i ran into a problem. the sprocket downloader was slow so i dl'd the files without using sprocket and when i installed ARMAII this morning i kept getting a ui error "which was prolly my fault for using a dl accelerator" so is it best to just use the sprocket downloader instead of dling each file with a accelerator? if so, is there any way to get the thing to go faster then 120kbs? i have a great connection on my end. thanks for listening to my rant lol i really want to get back into modding ARMA. .kju 3245 Posted October 13, 2011 for sprocket you have two basics options: 1) use the downloader 2) use the direct ftp link in the downloader you can select also different mirrors (US/EU/etc) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Zedrein 10 Posted October 13, 2011 i used the ftp links lastnight and when i was installing ARMAII it gave me a ui error and then wouldnt let me play the game. so i think that was a bad file part, not sure. i am redownloading it now using the downloader Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Zedrein 10 Posted October 14, 2011 NVM... i have solved the problem, i used the sprocket downloader and dl'ed both ARMAII & OA & it went smooth as silk no problems this time. i highly recommend using the downloader and NOT the FTP links/DL accelerators!!! plz close or lock this thread now if you want.
