need help missing a file

I am trying to edit a file in the Camaingn file but its not there. I am trying to find the Weapons file for the Camaingn but i cant find it. I got to Steam,steamapps,common,arma cold war Assault,users,username,saved,camaigins,1985 and all i see is 2 files Saved and continue FPSfiles. help me plz.

Try searching your hard drive for 1985.pbo These days files are put in odd places.

Is that all your missing is the campaign pbo fro OFP, i can just give you mine if you want, but search first.

Actually what you can do for steam is just verify the integrity of your cache.

no i got the pbo file. I am trying to give my guy more ammo and trying to change my Weapon if i can in the campaign. how do i do that?

Well you can extract the pbo useing this tool:

look for ExtractPbo1.80.rar

download and install.

then once installed,

- right click your pbo and open with and pick extract pbo,

a folder with the same name as the pbo will show open it and then go to the missions folder.

-Inside the missions folder choose which mission your at.

-then you need to open the mission your in, to open the mission you can open it with notepad, or the preferred tool Armaedit.

-find the player in the list.

in his init line you will need to add the code:

this addWeaponCargo ["SVD",20];this addMagazineCargo ["10Rnd_762x54_SVD",5];

as an example SVD is a Russian Sniper rifle, but you would need to get the actual OFP classname for the weapon and for the magazine you wanted to add.

ok i download it but i dont think I am installing it right, when i go to click on i get this. " this application has failed to start because DePbo.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. what am I doing wrong? I am even right clicking and clicking run as admin

Your clicking on the wrong file, click on the Install file.

After you downloaded the ExtractPbo1.80.rar save to a folder you can find, then extract the zip,

then inside the zip there is a file that says install click on that and go from there.

PBO Decryptor might be eaiser for you to use.

I am still getting the error. I right click on the install and then it open a windown and installed a lot of exe files.

Whatever works for you, either way you have to extract the pbo.

just follow the instructions I had posted on the one post I made about findign the file.

Any questions ask, maybe some else can answer if you have any as i gtg to work wont be back til the am.

also what weapon are you looking to add?

anyone have the OFP classnames for inf weapons and the ammo for them, as mattnjen here will need the list.

I have one somewhere but I have no time atm to look.
