Today I wanted to clean it, but as it's the nature of chipboard, it just soaked up the soapwater and began smelling of glue and wood - now it'll take days before it's totally dry again! Chipwood sucks because: - It soaks up water like a rag. It's totally impossible to wash and can't be used for outdoors stuff. - Experts says it's poisonous because of the glue and chemicals in it. - It's rediculously heavy. - it's ugly. - you can't put screws in it, it will just flake. Die Alive 0 Posted May 31, 2002 Yeah, I was renovating my friends new house, and that shit was all over the place, in the bathroom closet was the worse, that shit was always getting wet from the humidity. That shit was all moldy when we ripped it out and replaced it with some real wood.
