Joystick stop functioning in Arma 2 OA

The Model is a Logitech Extreme 3D

It was working fine up until last week. any help would be appreciated

You need to tell us more. Does it work with other games? Did you change any settings? Install drivers?

It can't "just stop" working.

Somehow i doubt its a arma problem rather that a windows/hardware problem..

If you're joystick/pad is not plugged in before launching the game then it will not remember your keybindings.

If the joystick is plugged it will re-remember them.
