Getting AI into structures

So on Utes there is a lighthouse that you can climb up and walk around the railing. I want to make an AI Sniper patrolling around the rail on top of the lighthouse. I can get him into the lighthouse but he just stops afterword. Anyway you can make him walk around the lighthouse top?

Puts units in buildings. The last number is what you adjust. Make sure you put this in a unit's init field. Try it out!

not working. he just stands at the top of the ladder of the lighthouse.

That lighthouse doesn't have any building positions available, so getting someone to move up there would be impossible on it's own.

You could try to make it move to a specific position up there, but making him patrol the whole cat walk would be quite difficult.

To get it to walk around the outside just place a series of waypoints in a circle with the last being a cycle. Place them away from the tower so it won't climb back down. It's a little tricky to get them in a good position but it's doable.

If there are sufficient AI pathways & buildingPositions at the top of the lighthouse you can do it. In fact, I have a script for this. I also have an FSM version that I haven't released...
