xy20032004 0 Posted July 23, 2011 I want to modify some trees by changing the size and find this tool ' vegscale.exe ', but there is no readme or any tutorial with it, no help with wiki either. Does anyone have any clue to the usage of this small tool to change the size of tree p3d files? And what software requirement does it need? vc+2008, .net3.5???? Thanks. .kju 3245 Posted July 23, 2011 VegScale.exe "C:\ArmA\x\ofpip\OFPIP\addons\p_bi_res_vegetation\m\tree\OFPIP_Smrk_velky.p3d" "C:\ArmA-build\ofpip_r_arma2_vegetation\m\tree\OFPIP_Smrk_velky.p3d" Does that help?
xy20032004 0 Posted July 23, 2011 PvPscene, thanks for your help! But I am confused. So the 'vegscale.exe' is a tool to change the size of trees in a map or a tool to convert old ofp/AA1 p3d file to AA2/OA p3d file? If its function is the first one, how can I use this small tool instead of the official SDK tool pack to change the scale/size of a tree? How do I know a tree's original size and how to make a tree smaller or larger in order to replace another tree and not to sink into or float above the ground? .kju 3245 Posted July 23, 2011 The tools adapts the size (height) of source object to target object. It keeps the scaling of the object (height to width ratio).
