cleggy 297 Posted July 14, 2011 (edited) So I thought I'd have a go at some 'thermals' on an addon I'm working on. Generally going OK ... But every now and then the tracks light up like a christmas tree ... *link to pic removed* Specifically when the vehicle stops and presumably the track anims switch off? Anyone have any experience/suggestions? Thanks EDIT: fixed now I hope - my fault - hadn't applied the track RVMAT to the lower LODs:o Think it was just LOD switching going on. [aps]gnat 28 Posted July 15, 2011 Which RGB channels you using for this thermal? Blue is generally the "wheel" type thermal.
cleggy 297 Posted July 15, 2011 Thanks for the reply Gnat. Yes, red channel for standing idle, green channel for engine/exhaust, blue channel for wheels and tracks. With so many selections relating to tracks ie: pasanimL and P, pasoffsetL and P, pasL and P and pasy I'm thinking it's a model.cfg problem. Not enough sections defined or too many ... who knows?
