bgbc1 10 Posted July 5, 2011 (edited) I am new at this game, I got the free arma2, and I would like to know if the server in the buy version have the same problem, because, the single player game its amazing, put the ping on multiplayer take the game down for me. I friend thoth that may be because the games were hosted by players, so I agree, anyway its the free version and I want buy the normal version, but I want to know if thats true and I want to know etheir if the normal game I will face the same problem. viper[cww] 14 Posted July 5, 2011 Depends what server you join and the servers location, my regular server within my clan I get 65-80 ping which is good on other server's located in spain, germany etc I get 35-50 ping.... arma has the lowest ever ping for me compared to every other game. gunso 10 Posted July 11, 2011 (edited) I'm sure arma2 free dont really have many servers or it's grossly overpopulated. If you want to buy it, you'll need arma2 Combine Operation it will have the most servers out there if you want a good MP experience. I'm from asia and can play in europe servers with ~220-260ms ping, Arma2 free from my opinion is a sample for you to see the potential of this game to new player. So if you really enjoy arma2, you'll be surprised how many dedicated server is out there and what the full game can provide you with all the mods and custom missions, from SP to MP.
