celery 8 Posted July 8, 2011 In the original post I was talking about a game you are hosting on your PC (Multiplayer/Internet)? I'm also talking about internet games. And they can't be compared to face-to-face gatherings.

NoRailgunner 0 Posted July 8, 2011 If you don't like to use radio/voice communication don't judge about other players who don't like to type/chat. Perhaps they said "hello" while you were coughing, burrrrrrrrrrrrping, nose blowing, farting ... :p If you cant shut up the chitchat you have to find or make some missions that can be only successful finished within a certain timeframe. Good to see people learning how to communicate and helping each other when they all have to cross the finishing line. No magic respawn/revive or very limited. ;)
Herbal Influence 10 Posted July 12, 2011 Yeah, thx. Well, my annoyance of VOIP has an additional reason. I am working as a consultant and have to talk/listen to people all day long. So I am really enjoying the birds on Everon and the reptiles footsteps in Takistan. But sure I would hear, though loudly yawning, if someone speaks up by VOIP. You also have this optical signal - name showing up in the moment of speaking. And I have little problem accepting someone using VOIP to say hello. But thanx. I think this thread has shown that at last the forum guys share my opinion to a some part.
