steelblood 10 Posted May 28, 2011 Hi I've been trying to join some standard arma 2 servers , and i download the mission file, it says loading then when i'm about to start playing it goes straight back to the server browser. There are no addons required for these servers so i have none in my directories, however i have tried joining an ACE server with all the necessary files working, and the same thing happens ? Anybody know whats going on ? Thanks Dan

sickboy 13 Posted May 29, 2011 Your RPT file probably points to what's up; http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/RPT IIRC this behaviour is also seen when BattlEye is enabled on the server, while it is not properly installed on the client. http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/BattlEye
scorpio17523 10 Posted May 29, 2011 Thanks, it's all fixed now. For anyone else having this issue, for me, manually updating my BattlEye files fixed my problem.
PLebre 10 Posted June 23, 2011 Hi I always get kicked from servers with BattlEye enable when trying to join. Setup_BattlEyeARMA2OA install at \ARMA2\Expansion\BattlEye on my system. Did try to copy the BattlEye folder into: C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\ArmA 2 OA \ARMA2 (root) X:\MyBattlEye (using the startup parameter -BEpath=X:\MyBattlEye Manually update BattEye.dll (last ver.) But always kicked. My Windows is Portuguese ver. Any help will be welcome. Regards
DattiHD 10 Posted June 24, 2011 Same problem here. There weren't any BattleEye folders in my installation directory or the user directory. So I downloaded the files and an created the folders by hand. But obviously that wasn't the solution.
