NEO -PZ- 0 Posted May 20, 2002 XP automaticly makes the "file ending" letters to capitals. This forum's rules for avatars is set so that the file ending must not be capitals. It's pretty annoying that XP users have to go into folder settings, uncheck a thing, change the file ending to non-capital, change back folder settings, then upload file to cyber space... Could you please make it so that the file ending also can be in capitals? A detail, but if anyone of you moderators are bored some moment during the day, please fix this Thanks in advance. Neo. Placebo 29 Posted May 20, 2002 Okies here goes.... 1. I've never experienced XP forcing upper case for file extensions. 2. If it does happen use an ftp program to do your uploading and configure it to automatically convert all uploads to lowercase filenames. 3. However as you predicted it only takes moments to fix so I've now added the upper case variants of image file extensions to the allowed file extension category so the problem is gone
