Ok, I was flying around trying to find a place for a good CTF map and I saw this Big Yellow strip going up the mountain on kolejeve(I think that is how you spell it) It is on the southwest side of the island and it runs from the shore to the sumet of the mountain. There are dead trees on it in sections and I am assuming it is a landslide?

Or maybe a Napalm bomb run during the (unseen) invasion of Kolgujev?

This has been asked and discussed previously.

That island is a volcanic island with the mountain in the middle the now inactive volcano, the yellow strip with burnt trees lining it is an old lava flow from a lava vent (hole in the ground).

Ya know what really be cool, is if they pulled that hole all the way to the sea level. And then a few feet below that. Possible retexturing it orange/red/yellow. This was if you fall into that water, which would now be lava. You have an excuse to die from only a little bit of it.

I think it looks more like a mudslide from a storm than a volcano....

I think its a volcano becuase there is a gaping hole in the ground! And its atop a mountain, somewhat. A mudslide wouldnt cuase a hole that big
