W0lle 1052 Posted May 4, 2011 It may be a good idea to at least credit BIS if you use their images and logos on your website. ;)
G4PC 10 Posted May 4, 2011 (edited) It may be a good idea to at least credit BIS if you use their images and logos on your website. ;) The copyright info for BIS was under Legal link in the footer. ** Edit: Changed Legal to Copyright and added G4PC Fansite above Arma logo to be more clear. I will add a credit line in the footer of all pages. Sorry for the omission.** Edited May 6, 2011 by G4PC

Freeborne 10 Posted May 4, 2011 Although your enthusiasm is commendable, I think W0lle was far too polite in my opinion. It looks like you just ripped all 'your' content from official sources, including RSS feeds, images, articles, etc. Even removed all branding etc. I can understand why you need to do this.... so you can make a website with actual content... but maybe that's due to the fact your jumping straight in and trying to build a website for a game you just purchased, but was released 2 years ago (not including it's predecessors that date back to 2001). I'm even left wondering if you paid RocketTheme to use the same Joomla theme as BIS uses :raisebrow: Lastly, it might be better to choose a domain name that suits your content and audience, leave out the references to the non-existent ArmA3, and check out other community sites first before doing your own thing. That way you get a better understanding of the game/community and can also look for a gap to fill in what your site can offer.
G4PC 10 Posted May 6, 2011 (edited) To further clarify content ... auto newsfeeds have been rename "Community Feeds" and original content will be called "Feature Articles". Thanks for the input. Edited May 13, 2011 by G4PC
