Lua instead of SQF/SQS

I just hope the CodeMasters is not want to implement anything in LUA/AngelScript/C#, I'd run over there quick.

Better start running then. You're a few years late :D

Codemaster's EGO engine (Dirt2, DR, F1 2010, RR...) uses Lua scripting.

Not sure what LUA would add that SQF doesn't. If the functionality isn't supported in the engine itself, how the hell would LUA fix that?

Errr... Scripting is all about adding functionality that is not supported by (ie, hardcoded in) the engine. But be it LUA or SQF probably doesn't make any difference what can be done with scripts.

Yes. SQF or Lua, it doesn't matter, there would be no additional game features... It's all about what the engine exposes.
