Arma 2: CO mouse trouble

I just bought Arma: Combined Ops on steam and when running the original game the mouse movement is incredibly jerky and nigh unplayable for me. I've played with the sensitivity and mouse smoothing and nothing seems to make a difference. Yet when I run Arrowhead the mouse movement is smooth and without problems. Running Combined Ops together, I get the same problems as the default game.

Any solutions/tips for why this is happening?

Arma 2: Combined Operations. The GPU fix I found seems to have taken care of it most of the time, though there is still occasional lag in menus, it is nowhere near as common.

Completely off. Also tried on, and since it only happens rarely in menu's this didn't seem to make a difference when that did occur.

and what for GPU_MaxFramesAhead (in the arma2oa.cfg)

I set this to 1 instead of 1000 and that seems to have reduced nearly all of the menu lag. It still happens from time to time when in something like a several layer deep ace menu, but other than that, the GPU one has fixed this.
