question about arma 2 CO drm & resale (urgent)

Hey guys. I bot arma 2 combined operations (arma 2 and OA) at a local store about a week ago. after long hours of trying to get OA to install, I finally got it. Starting up Combined Operations for the first time, however, it grants me the choice of either verifying the product online or through the dvd- the online being a 1 time only activation and the alternative requiring the disk in on startup always. If I choose to verify it online, will this be a 1 time only authentication? Like if my computer were to crash (which does happen), would I be able to install the game to be able to play online on a new pc. Or if I were to eventually sell the game after uninstalling it on my system, would the game lose it's resale value?

DVD checks have now been removed in the current versions so just go 'requires disk' for now and when you patch that requirement will vanish.

Choose the disc check. A patch (can't recall which version) removes the validation anyway.
