General question about the Editor and Multiplayer

Im making a mission in the map editor and just want to know if its possible to play online with a friend in the mission i created. If it is, how is it set up? I already know that you can save missions you create as "MP Missions". But how would one use that mission to play online with a friend?

What exactly do you want to know, please be a bit more specific. Other than that, copy it (yourmission.pbo) into the MPMissions folder, host a game and pick it.

create a local server or upload on a dedicated server (if one exists).

In the editor save the game as a multiplayer game. Then go to multiplayer and host the game yourself.

Be sure to tell your mate what the server name is so that he can find it in the list.
