samas 10 Posted March 7, 2011 Hello BIS Forums I am having major issues with my game after SP1 for Win7 x64! No matter what map I load, what mods, or what server, the game will crash to desktop in about two minutes of joining a server. I am using the Steam version on this machine: Gigabyte EP45T-UDL3R Intel Q9550 @ 2.83 (stock no OC) Gskill 4 Gb DDR3 1333 Cas 9 EVGA GTX 460 SE (Driver ver. 266.58, Physx 09.10.0514) I have already uninstalled and re-installed OA once with no change. Changing video settings doesn't effect duration until crash either. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! teaboy 11 Posted March 7, 2011 Am assuming you tried it without mods and have tried with the latest patch or most recent beta, am i right? If not, patch up see if that work both with and without the mods. By the way i would replace the image with one that below 100Kbs - Forum rules am afraid. samas 10 Posted March 7, 2011 Yes, I tried just straight CO with no mods and same result. I am patched to 1.57 but I have NOT tried the beta, although it is downloaded. I am also using the ARMA 2 Launcher v1.4.1 by Spirited Machine, not sure if that has any bearing on my problem. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
samas 10 Posted March 9, 2011 (edited) Ok, installing the beta patch only worked on one mission, and that was Insurgency. It seemed to play that ok, but as soon as I loaded a Domination map, it crashed right away. Also, I found this in the beta change log, but I'm not sure its been fixed in my case: [76870] Fixed: Flood in RPT file caused by lines like "Object 2:200 (type Type_268) not found."
