daveygary1979 14 Posted April 5, 2011 here are the models i have ingame! I am having some trouble getting the wound textures associated with the models so if anyone can help with that i would appreciate it oh and an idea of how to get them ACE compatible! http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-0421-18-59-54.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-0421-19-35-76.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-0421-19-55-17.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-0421-21-05-33.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-0421-21-21-93.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-0421-21-40-97.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-0421-21-54-82.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-0421-22-15-58.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-0421-22-53-93.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-0421-23-11-41.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-0421-23-34-39.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-0421-23-52-55.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-0421-24-12-17.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-0421-24-29-84.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-0421-24-38-52.jpg ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here is the problem i am having with the wound textures! when i get injured and bloodied the lighting goes crazy on me and i have no idea what is wrong. Here are the screens of what i mean, http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-0422-14-14-60.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-0422-12-14-64.jpg
Binkowski 26 Posted April 5, 2011 to get them to be ace compatible, you really don't have to do anything. if you're talking rucksack compatibility either a.) remove the rucks completely, or b.) make the rucksacks that are fixed on the model a hidden selection, then make two configs. one config for regular which will show the rucks in regular. and the other for ace, which will hide the rucks. reagarding the problem with the wound texture, it looks like a rvmat issue to me. daveygary1979 14 Posted April 5, 2011 well i checked out the rvmats and i found an error in there regarding a texture that i no longer use as the as level, i switched it out with the new one and now when shot it looks like the men are covered in red paint ( very bright red and completely replaces the texture it covers) and only 2 of my 4 units show this, the other two dont change at all ( no trace of any wounds) i am at a stand still as to what may be causing this! daveygary1979 14 Posted April 11, 2011 (edited) so my models have come a long way since i last posted but i am i need of help, again, i have an xml prob that i am unsure of!!! i have used the xml (klan.paa) that came with the stock arma 2 sample model and for some reason it shows the logo horizontally mirrored! http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-1100-45-40-85.jpg i have tried mirroring the selection on the model and also mirroring the .paa image file but the outcome is always the same, a mirrored arm patch!!! any ideas? problem fixed, lots of tinkering and not quite sure what i did lol!!! http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-1116-18-00-99.jpg Edited April 11, 2011 by daveygary1979
daveygary1979 14 Posted April 14, 2011 some screens of tonights testing!!! oh and if you notice the left arm you will see on my model (and all others, it just so happened i was using mine at the time) i have my squads xml on the pocket! http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-1400-43-55-06.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-1400-40-34-50.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-1400-40-14-46.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-1400-43-55-06.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-1400-43-37-95.jpg http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b50/DaveyGary/arma2oa2011-04-1400-41-51-75.jpg i have no idea as to when this will go public as i am still early stages of beta testing! they sure do look cool ingame and the shadows are GREAT!!!! i havent seen anything like this before (thanks to johannes for the use of his russian soldier model from the arma 2 example model pack for the soldiers body, which may i add, i had to HEAVILY modify and the use of some of his work from the sf models particularly the pouches, saved me a whole bunch of time!!!) i am hoping to get the final release out for testing asap!
