InRange 1 Posted May 16, 2002 Damn, that thing looks cool. I also like the way the gunner put his left hand on the buttstock. Now, release it.
Guest Scooby Posted May 16, 2002 12.7 NSV has been asked for long time from BIS. It should include two different positions to fire. AA firing and ground target firing. When firing ground targets it's tripod is set lower and soldier who is operating it is in kind of sitting position. While in AA firing position NSV is mostly operated from standing position. In overall BIS should make better damage modelling to make difference beetween different weapons and hit locations. Though at this stage it might be too late to do. NSV is also more effective than US M2. If you compare Russian 12.7x(was it 109) round and US 12.7x(99?) round you'll see the difference. Generally heavy machineguns in OFP are much too inaccurate and ineffective. And as far as I can remember BRDM was very weak in OFP, weaker than US jeep and in other hand humvee could take very unrealistic amount of hits.
N.o.R.S.u 0 Posted May 16, 2002 Wow Kegetys, finally someone made that long-awaited thing. One question though, will the gunner rotate 360 degrees like in Jeep with MG, that would be kinda wierd. Great job anyway.
