Buddy how is a ASM helicopter balance for a scout? Last time I check when I'm playing the Russian side I haven't been harrassed by USA subs. As for the other helicopters the Mi-24 does dual duty. I don't know about you but that thing is deadly to tanks and infantry + it carries a squad. Where's the balance on the NATO side?

Not all varients have a gun. The BRDM was brought in as balance to the HUMVEE. Since you are so big on this, why doesn't the HUMVEE have a mounted MG? or TOW? or Stingers? or the 40mm gernade launcher?

let me try to explain

in 1.30 they introduced laser guided bombs

what does the kiowa do? it has a lovely little thing called laser designator. it allows you to paint targets so an A-10 LGB can drop LGBs on them, do you see any LGBs on the russian side?

the chinook carries a lot of troops, something lacking by the AH-1 and AH-64

the MI-24 is multi role, it carries troops and has a fierce range of weaponary just like the AH-1 and AH-64. the CH-47 makes up for that by being able to carry 2 squads.

the AH-64 is flown by the army. last time i checked OFP was about the army. the AH-1 is fragile compared to the MI-24, something i feel is balanced out by the AH-64

...would be pointless since there are currently no subs in OFP. Doubt that we will ever see one as an add-on because what you can do in the water in OFP is so limited.

I quoted it above and there is no mention of recon anywhere. The KA-25 was developed for the NAVY for ASW!

And is the Mi-26 actually used in combat operations? The Mi-8 is the larger transport in the game and it carries even more rockets!

I'm all for the addition of more vehicles but your arguements and posts contradict your aguements and it makes no sense.

a: it doesn't fit in with the resistance timeline

b: again, please explain why MI-24 carrying troops but AH-1 and AH-64 is balanced, but a heavy transport with a weak doorgun is not.

you carry troops in choppers all the time, that's how you transport them around quickly through enemy and friendly territory.

make up your mind about what you want

we're talking about RESISTANCE here. resistance is an official campaign/expansion pack by BIS. i'm going to take a longshot here, but i think they're kind of busy working on things for resistance. if you really want the BMP-3 and MI-28 so bad that you can't possibly live without them, why don't you apply for oxygen and make them because i'd much rather BIS focus on addons relative to resistance.

and a suggestion for the future, don't complain about wanting more balance when suggesting things to unbalance the game. it just doesn't fit.
