RED 0 Posted May 13, 2002 I don't think that will be possible. Unless you want the player to be in a chopper with "setcaptive true"? But I am not sure what you want this for so can't offer much help. RED
Chris Death 0 Posted May 14, 2002 As far as i remember, you can create a camera in your player's init-field, and then you have control off that cam. You can move/turn/up-down like as you would fly a seagull. I'll have to check my docs. I'll do that tomorrow, if it won't be done by any other meanwhile. soz, but i can't do it tonight anymore - even "the Death" needs to get some sleep hope this will help soon ~S~ CD
Chris Death 0 Posted May 14, 2002 OK i got it; If you want the camera control from the start, just use: this exec "camera.sqs" in your player's init field Radio Calls are still working for you I used a Radio-Alpha trigger to activate the camera by it's onActivation field: Player_name exec "camera.sqs" so that i still had control, to start the camera by myself at the time i want. btw - i've tested, if the radio calls are still working, while i had control over the camera by using a radio-bravo trigger, which played some music - and guess what? yes there was music. hope this is what you need ~S~ CD

Chris Death 0 Posted May 14, 2002 btw - i figured out, that you can quit the camera mode by pressing "*" on the num-pad. Also you can use the space-bar to lock the camera on an object (the one nearest to the center of the screen), and unlock it again by pressing "5" on num-pad. If you use a radio-alpha with activation: repeatedly, you can switch on/off your camera, if you don't need it, or if you need it again. ~S~ CD
