skaith57 10 Posted February 1, 2011 Hello, I would like how to make AI call for reinforcements in a mission. I'm not good at scripting. Thank you in advance.:)
Gunter Severloh 4072 Posted February 1, 2011 If you use GL4: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=8848&highlight=GL4 it will make the Ai smarter, now for example in your mission if you have multiple enemy squads, or even friendlies around and a squad is on the attack but is getting beat they will call and communicate to other Ai squads to support them. Macadam Cow 1 Posted February 2, 2011 If you're not good at scripting I suggest this (from another post on the forum, forgot whos the author but many thx to him) : Custom made supportsTry this: If you set the units you want and give the leader of the group a hold waypoint. Then create a trigger which activates on say radio Alpha, set axis a and b to zero, set to repeatedly, make the trigger a switch then type in the activation box sumthing like: Hint: "Swat team coming to you, over" so you know it's working. Then sync 'F5' the trigger to the Hold waypoint, then give the leader a move waypoint to your player and make the waypoint timeout after say 60 Seconds (Min:60 Mid:60 Max:60) then another waypoint on the leader which is cycle. So evey time you want support, just radio Alpha, they'll move to you, wait one minute, then return to their original postion untill you call again. P.s u can add a vehicle for them, after hold. get in, move, getout, (timeout), get in, move (back to base) then cycle.
