The Hebrew Hammer 10 Posted January 13, 2011 Okay, I foud a rudmentary way to play "CO" where I can run Arma 2 units in OA. However US Army troops engage USMC units, so can't really do joint operations with them... But whenver I do something in a mission such as fire an RPG or begin a strafing run, boom game crashes. Anyone else having this problem? Also it tell me that I'm missing some fonts, so I have to rely on the vehicles instruments to tell me my airspeed and altitude, I'm fine with that, but I have no way of telling how much ammo I have either. I doubt it, otherwise A2 + OA would work for you as it does for everyone else. One more time, just for you: Step 1: Uninstall ArmA2 and OA. Make Backups of your Modfolders. Step 2: Install ArmA2 and run it once. Step 3: Install OA. When asked where to install to, install it into the same folder as ArmA2. Step 4: Install BAF (if applicable) Step 5: Install PMC (if applicable) Step 6: Install the latest OA Patch (patches also A2 + BAF + PMC). Sample for Step 3: If you have installed ArmA2 in c:\games\arma2, then you must install OA into c:\games\arma2 as well and not in c:\games\oa!
The Hebrew Hammer 10 Posted January 13, 2011 It doesn't combine them if I follow that method, I've tried that before. The sprocket installer fails to recognize the Arma 2 content, keep in mind I've followed this exact method to the letter before. So it creates Bohemia Interactive\Arma2OA\*content* within the Arma 2 folder, making it: Programfiles(x86)\BHI\Arma2\BHI\OA\*content* The files need to be in the same folder, so I backed up and manually combined all the content, it works for now. W0lle 1050 Posted January 13, 2011 Then I must have a very special A2 + OA, because it works just fine here. And I have both from Sprocket as well.

The installer shouldn't need to "recognize" content as OA is installed into a folder called "expansion" within the arma2 folder... That's if you follow all necessary prompts in the correct manner. If your us army troops are engaging usmc then you've done something VERY wrong.
