flashlights

Recommended Posts

- Goodmorning men, any activity last night?

- all quiet, sir. No movement all night long.

- Good, stay alert things, are about to get hot.

- Yes, sir!

I can still hear it when I shut my eyes.

lololololololollololololollolollolololololollololollololololol...

You can also make soldiers shoot SABOTs and HEATs and anything from their chest.

I assume this is because they forgot to take out the flashlight from the model.

In the miltiary i see absolutely no point of a flashlight. it has zero (yes zero) usefulness.

Maybe if this game were CQB (like Rogue spear/Swat3) then sure, or maybe if this game was about patrolling private property (not in a warzone) then fine, flashlgiht would be good.

But other than that, cmon. If your in a night mission and using a flashlight, its going to be so easy to shoot at you that you may aswell dro pa grenade next to yourself.

Did you all know allready that the parrachute has also a light in it, go try it in a night mission and push the "L" button and a light pops up at the top of your chute, I think it is funny though.

This reminds me of that old thread..

we could use red lense flashlights (for night map reading)

but above all , we need large controllable spotlights on the towers around bases.

Atleast in Finnish army we had stricht light discpline. No usage of lights outside the tent...

Maybe a light for map reading so that light has dimmer on so that you can barely read the map with hit.

You could have an escape and evasion mission with guards hunting u using flashlights. There are uses for a flashlight, dont automatically think that just because some dumb shyt would use it and get shot in combat then its useless.

Smoking was something that was allowed at the peace time, ofcourse so that it was done in some cover. Though we were reminded more than often that when real situation would be on it shouldnt be done even if you could hide the light because of the smell.

Especially at the basic training I enjoyed watching even the laziest men doing their tasks really quickly and running fast as a wind when they had to get time from somewhere to get to smoke.

I didnt smoke so it wouldnt have been such an big problem anyways.

"*checks watch*, You've got 60 seconds time to go to smoking place, smoke and report back." smile.gif

Would be cool if they could get some big searchlights in the lookout towers. We could make some missions based on "The Great Escape."
