Seriously, you would have to go through some kind of legal process that would pay royalties to Codemasters and BIS to market a mod. I have heard nothing of either company allowing it though. OF team? Any insight into this?

I will not pay for anything unless it is official from CM or BIS. mad.gif

Don't worry about running the demo's EXE setup. It simply adds file PoWDemo.pbo to OFP's CAMPAIGNS folder and file PoWDemo2.pbo to OFP's ADDONS folder. The readme.txt file is copied into OFP's base directory so you might want to eventually delete that for sure.

This is an example campaign to show that the POW campaign is kept very realistic

and enjoyable for everyone. The 3rd mission of this mini campaign contains some new A.I.

The A.I. can listen to loud shots and raises alarm. There are security cameras in it,too !

You will see the meteors only in campaign intro or in the additional sinleplayer

and multiplayer missions (in multiplayer they really add goog action !wink.gif

The Strategy interface is used very spare in the campaign

You just have to use it a few times to secure some beach landing zones etc...

So this is our way to keep it playable and realisitc for everyone , and to find more place for

our dramatic storyline. Each mission has its own new ideas and options never seen before !

The full campaign has so many new never seen features that we can't list up all here

one example:

Depending on your score reached in each mission you will be able to develope your character

during the campaign by giving him skill points for different abilities.

POW includes multiplayer missions, where each side has to build up its base and research

new better technologies to destroy the enemy base

This base VS base mode is even fun when playing 1 on 1

...and everytime it is different because every time you develope other weapon systems

or other strategy.

Additional Coop and singleplayer missions are also on the disc.

3 more new campaings from other autors will be on the CD too

We also provide future support for 1944 and Resistance

That means you can use the strategy engine in those mods, too - if you want to !

Well, I played the demo. One major bug, one minor one.

When I started the mission the first time, none of the voices were heard. I pressed ESC and restarted the mission and the I heard them. That's minor.

Big bug! When I went to the next to the last box and picked up the M16+M203, there was no ammo! I tried getting M16 magazines from back at the first box but it wouldn't let me take the M16+M203 with me (chained to prevent theft? tounge.gif ).

So I couldn't finish the mission! Other than target practice and some nice structure addons, I fail to see the attraction of this demo.

Anyone else?

Another bug: I could easily walk through the target box front walls to the other side where the ammo boxes were located.

They must have been built by the same housing subcontractors that were used to build Dourdan. biggrin.gif

it's legal to sell a cd-version with the mod on it in the U.S. i believe but i don't think you can charge for more than cd cost+shipping
