Diddly-doodly 10 Posted December 16, 2010 Hello I've been trying to update to 1.05 since yesterday,first time I ran the patch (arma2update_105.zip) from ePrison.de at an average speed of 30 kbps:mad: 3 hours later,after it was complete,I checked arma 2,no update.The file was nowhere to be found on my pc,not even the download in my documents,only on the little DownL window in which i cant do anything excpt go to DL link/page.today i downloaded winrar and downloaded this file again by running it through winrar,3 hours later same thing,this time i get a "system can't find file specified" on winrar page when i select the file.FOR F*CK's SAKE can anyone give me step by step directions on how to get patch 1.05 running.please note that I'm a noob in this field .I read something through my search on the web about steam,well I don't have it if that counts.I don't even know what I'm doing wrong so I wrote everything.PLEASE HELP. mosh 0 Posted December 16, 2010 You said you're not on Steam, correct? Then why not d/l patch 1.08 (or 1.56 if you have OA). Those are the most current patches (1.56 updates your Arma 2 as well if you have OA, no need to run both). Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
toddrivers 10 Posted December 16, 2010 First of all the latest patch for Arma 2 is 1.08, and 1.56 if you have OA. Theres a list of places to download in the first link. Diddly-doodly 10 Posted December 16, 2010 Thank you for replying back.My last version is 1.01,and I understood that in order to patch the game to 1.07 or 08 I need the previous 1.05 which also adds a mini campaign and a new chopper :D(or is this only for steam,whatever that is lol).I am new to the whole patching thing any additional details would be much appreciated,like for example should I run or save the file,or where to save it,what to do after DL is complete,etc.... sorry for sounding too ignorant but as I said,i am inexperienced.
