ArmAriffic 10 Posted December 15, 2010 (edited) We have had PMC for a while now so what is, and how do we use in game video playback? Sorry if this is in the wrong place, it seams like it should go in this one. Thanks, ArmAriffic Edited December 15, 2010 by ArmAriffic
SPC.Spets 21 Posted December 15, 2010 You can play videos as intro/cut scene, instead using the engine, something like that

Shadow NX 1 Posted December 15, 2010 In PMC it is used for either show videos between the missions or for example have a i-phone pop up on the screen showing a video of your boss giving orders. Whole idea as i see it make it easier for mission makers and guarantee that a cutscene will always work correctly or can have crazy things like a giantic military parade without frying your GPU. Muahaha 10 Posted December 16, 2010 Anyone kind enough to create a simple "hello world" type video playback tutorial for noobs like me?
msy 22 Posted December 16, 2010 Before the 1.57 beta patch I thought this function was nothing but a PC killer, but now I withdraw my opinion.
