IceFire 0 Posted May 9, 2002 Whenever I play OPF for a long time or am still for a long time or something. My mouse crosshairs automatically start aiming up. If I try to pull down, it works to a bit, but it fights me. And as soon as I stop pulling down, it goes straight back up again. This only happens rarely. But when it does, it is damn annoying. Mister Frag 0 Posted May 11, 2002 You could try providing some details about your system configuration -- the OS you use, mouse make and model, connection type (serial/PS2/USB), driver version etc. If the problem only happens with OFP and no other programs, one other question applies: do you have a legitimate copy of OFP, or did you trigger FADE? I am connected to my college dorm. 1.7Ghz with 128MB PC800 Integrated Full Speed L2 Cache 32 MB Nvidia GeForce2 MX with TV-out 16xDVD-ROM Drive 80.OGB Hard Drive 8x CD-RW Drive with Adaptec Easy CD Creator**SOFTWARE*** Creative Labs sound blaster PCI128 Audio card 56k ITU V.90 Modem 10/100MB PCI NIC Microsoft Millenium Edition, Microsoft Works 6.0, Microsoft money 2001, and microsoft Encarta On-line Delux! I don't know what any of that means. It is on the sticker on my computer. I changed my mousy though. Now I have an ordinary mouse that says "Microsoft" on it. It used to be a cordless mouse. Malfunction 0 Posted May 12, 2002 This sounds suspiciously like a joystick issue. If you have a j-stick plugged in, try disabling it in your control options for OFP, or unplugging it if your not using it. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
